But as it stands, it's more of a 'roll the dice to see who wins,' and that's why I can't recommend it. If there were more 'skill' elements that relied less on pure RNG, I think it would be a pretty fantastic game.

Maybe it's just me, but I like to play games to escape from the crippling reality of reality, not have the same experience shoved down my throat but with A N I M E It's ridiculous and unfun, even for the player(s) in the lead since the excitement of pulling ahead in the race eventually just turns to pity as the disparity grows greater with slim opportunity for comebacks. Even the RNG for dice rolls feels like it becomes weighted against the player in last place. The philosophy that the developers apparently decided to base their game on here seems to be something to the tune of 'The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer,' because that is indeed how this game's mechanics seem to work. You exist exclusively to get f*cked in orifices you didn't even you know you had. Well, there's just no point to playing the remainder of the match.

But chances are if you were behind enough to receive the game's ribbed the first time, you'll likely get another d|cking the second time. They are given a 'bad' follower: someone who takes their items, money, and properties away from them every single turn until the next goal is achieved and the followers are redistributed according to who is first and last again. This player is bent right over and up the unless they get incredibly lucky with their RNG from this point until the end of the game. This would be fine, but then the game's attention turns to the player currently furthest from the goal. When the goal is reached, the winner takes a huge chunk of cash as well as a powerful new follower, and because the goal always ends on a city, they can then use all that money to purchase most (if not all) of the properties in it. This is the high point of the game, because as soon as somebody makes it to the goal, it all spirals downhill from there. A goal destination is randomly selected on the map, and you all roll the dice to move towards it, gaining cash, items, slaves, and maybe even properties along the way. You start the game with up to 3 other players-friends and/or CPUs-each with a pittance of 10 million yen. Despite its bubbly cartoonish style and general hilarity/quirkiness, it suffers mechanically from one fatal flaw: I actually like this game, but, you see, I just can't recommend it as it is. Don't be too misled by the big red thumbs-down.
